The Power of Music.
How many times in our live’s has a piece of music affected us, it might have brought a tear to our eyes, sent shivers tingling through our bodies, made us laugh, brought back memories, the list is endless.
Music has a powerful impact upon us, it can alter our emotions, it can stop us dead in our tracks, but equally it is a tool of Spirit. The old saying that music soothes the savage beast is indeed very apt if the right piece of music is played of course, but if you truly reflect on music through history, apart from the pleasure it brings, many nations and society’s used it as a language, through music they were able to communicate messages, messages to those who heard and understood, it is a language in itself.
Many great musicians have created sounds of beauty, often admitting that the ideas to create such pieces simply popped into their heads, Carlos Santana said once in an interview : "...you meditate and you got the candles, you got the incense and you've been chanting, and all of a sudden you hear this voice: 'Write this down'"
Many other musicians also claimed to be inspired from a source they could not comprehend, in a interview with John Lennon in 1988 he stated : “I felt like a temple filled with many spirits, each one passing through me, each inhabiting me for a little time and then leaving to be replaced by another”, each at times talking to me about something I have to do in this World, be it through my music or through my actions, I know I’m here to something greater, but time is against me.
John Lennon knew he had a purpose to fulfil but was still unsure what exactly it was, he was heavily involved into raising mankind’s awareness and awakening to PEACE in our World, why do you think this was. Many other famous people also commented upon peace and its importance :
Jimi Hendrix.
When the power of Love overcomes the Love of Power then the World will know Peace.
Eleanor Roosevelt.
It simply isn't enough to talk about Peace, one must believe it can happen, but don't just stop at the Believing level, you must work together, united as one for it to ever manifest....
Mother Theresa
If we have NO peace it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other, we came from the same place but we do not remember one another.
Music carries the message of PEACE ,it brings to us soothing qualities, it calms us when we feel raged or upset or merely lost, we are able to find ourselves through music, or at least through the hidden message laid deep within the vibration of all inspired music.
Let me re-iterate a moment of the words of America’s first lady Eleanor Roosevelt: It simply isn't enough to talk about Peace, one must believe it can happen, but don't just stop at the Believing level, you must work together, united as one for it to ever manifest.... trouble is WE DON’T do we and do you actually think we ever will. Since the time of Christ spirit have urged us to live in PEACE and Harmony, to live as one family, all working united toward the same goal, not individually, not as separatist’s, not as individual Religious cults, organization’s or groups but as ONE united family.
A man was once given a few basic tools and told to build a shelter to house a family, indeed he did it but it took many years to complete, whereas and at the same time a group of men were given the same task and completed it inside of 6 weeks, meaning united and working together toward an ultimate goal things can be achieved ,if you BELIEVE. So believe in Spirit, believe in the song of Spirit, the message of Spirit and lets begin to rebuild our World. I for one would love to know that when my time comes to return to the Spirit realms that I can look down upon the physical realm and feel great happiness at what I’ve left behind, seeing the restoration work underway what a wonderful legacy to leave for our future family.
Listen to the POWER of Music and let’s play the same song. Don’t merely sit and ponder, but unite, I’d love to hear from you and lets begin composing.
