A visit from Heaven by Carol Stirling
08 December 06, it was my birthday and I had a bad week been feeling sorry for me and depressed with all the work I still had to do!
I had been in and out of hospital with chest pains and was trying hard to keep up with normal daily life.
I had not been feeling a 100% and sat down.
The next thing I felt myself floating as I was going higher and higher I just let myself go!
I was not sure where I was going but it felt safe and calm.
I missed being a child and felt my youthful self.
I seemed to be looking around when I came across a stairwell that leads me straight to the clouds.
My thoughts where I don’t want to go to heaven yet but would love to see my sister one more time! I was only 16 when my sister passed to spirit.
A voice said “I will come to you”
I looked up at in front of me was a young girl who looked just like my sister she had short wings on her back.
She came walking down the stairs handing me a red rose.
She told me she know longer needs yellow ones!
My sister was born with a liver disease and died a week before her 3rd birthday my mum named her Rosie Marie as she reminded her of a yellow rose bud as she was tiny and petite.
I always wished her well but new she was in pain!
I had a terrible time with life as for the whole time of Rosie’s life I had extra burdens to take on at home. I truly did my duties and loved every minute of my sister.
We shared lots of pleasure and she was a great girl she was so clever she new when she had to take her medication and would tell you and bring all the equipment to do so! She would have changed her own nappies if you let her she was a bright spark.
Since my time with Rosie I have had my own family and realised how much a young child new about life before she passed. She was not like any other child I have come across.
I wondered if she been trying to tell me about her liver when passing me the red rose and not needing the yellow ones! A yellow rose is symbolic of her and we always buy a yellow rose to remind us of her and to place in her memory.
Every time my mum had a child she would plant a rose bush in the garden to celebrate the birth of her child I was a pink rose, my sister Laura was a deeper pink and Rosie well she was yellow.
As I stood in front of my sister all the memories came forward about mum planting roses, Our special times on Christmas day etc.
Since this day I have felt truly happier and an experience I will treasure as I was never sure how my sister would be in the world of spirit.
I always wondered if she would come back to the material world!
But she is there and an Angel in heaven waiting for me and the rest of the family to be one again.
